Generate production-ready Remotion videos from natural language prompts. Claude AI writes the code, you get the MP4.
Remotion Claude is an AI video generation tool that converts natural language descriptions into production-ready Remotion video compositions, rendering professional MP4 files in under 2 minutes. Built on Anthropic's Claude AI and the Remotion framework, it generates unique React-based video code from each prompt — not template fill-ins.
How it actually works
You type a prompt. Something like "Create a 30-second product launch video for a fitness app with bold typography and energetic transitions." Claude reads that, thinks about structure, timing, and visual hierarchy, and writes a complete React component using Remotion's API. That component gets bundled and rendered into a video file you can download.
The key thing here is that Claude isn't filling in blanks on a template. It's writing actual code — choosing animation curves, spacing elements, picking transition styles, deciding how long each scene should last. Every video is genuinely unique to your prompt.
Why we built it this way
We looked at how most "AI video" tools work and noticed a pattern: they're usually template engines with an AI layer that picks which template to use and what text to slot in. The results feel generic because they are generic.
We wanted something different. Remotion is a React-based video framework, which means every visual element is a component, every animation is code, and every timing decision is programmable. By giving Claude direct access to this framework, we get compositions that actually match what you asked for rather than the closest available template.
The preview-first workflow
After Claude generates your composition, you see it immediately in a live Remotion Player. You can scrub through the timeline, check every scene, and decide if it's what you wanted before committing to a full render. If something's off, you can refine it through conversation.
